Pretec 2.5" P4000 Elite Series SATA II SSD
Pretec P4000 SSD is designed to allow installation into a standard 2.5" form factor that is electronically , mechanicaly, and software compatible with exisiting SATA slots. P4000 has excellent performance its transfer performace can reach up to 285MB/sec read speed and 275MB/sec write speed and achieves IOPS up to 16,000 in benchmark tests.
The special "write amplification algorithms" provide the best perfomance and lifetime. P4000 features a built-in ECC function that supports error reporting, automatic error detection and correction, and the integrity and safety of data stored on P4000 can be expected. the static wear levelling technology can average out the write cycles on each cell over time, thereby eliminating frequent writes to the same flash cell thus extending its serviceable lifespan. Because the P4000 extends endurance 80 fold over SSD using the "write amplification algorithms", its attributes offer extremely high performance, premium reliability, durability, and superior ruggedness when compared to traditional HDD's and other SSD's available today.
P4000 targets various 2.5" high-end workstations, high-end desktop, laptop systems and enterprise workstations but is also suited to portable consumer products such as notebook computers.
