APRO Metal 2.5" SATA II SLC SSD - BON Series provides high capacity flash memory Solid State Drive (SSD) that electrically complies with the Serial ATA 2.6 (SATA) standard and supports SATA Gen-II (3.0Gb/s) with high performance for they are built-in with two sophisticated SATA II controllers. The main used flash memories are SLC-NAND type flash memory chips. The available disk capacities are 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
APRO Industrial Rugged Metal 2.5" SATA SLC SSD - BON Series supports Fast/Secure Erase which initiates by hardware design and software vendor commands. APRO's Fast Erase procedure is one of the default sanitize procedure in BON Series Secure Erase SSD Series. Fast Erase enables users to erase the entire disk contents in a matter of seconds; 8GB takes around 6 seconds with the 128GB needing around 60 seconds to run the Fast Erase procedure for the whole disk completely. Furthermore, BON Series Rugged Metal 2.5" SATA SLC SSD also supports Secure Erase (Sanitizing procedures) including NSA Manual 130-2, USA-AF AFSSI 5020, DoD 5220.22M and IREC (IRIG) 106 standards by different firmware versions.
